How well this ability can be used depends on each person’s power of reasoning. There are two types of reasoning Inductive Reasoning and Deductive Reasoning.Inductive reasoning, (Bottom-up logic) is a kind of reasoning that constructs or evaluates general propositions that are derived from specific examples. Deductive reasoning, (Top-down logic) is the process of reasoning from one or more general statements (premises) to reach a logically certain conclusion.
