A circle is a collection of all points in a plane which are at a constant distance (radius) from a fixed point (centre). A line that intersects the circle at one point is called a tangent and intersection of a circle at two points by a line is a secant.
Basic concept of shapes and angles
A wheel has a circular outline. The inner spokes are secants and the surface is tangent to the wheel.
What are the common circular objects that we come across in our day to day life?
