An EMF can be induced
in a conducting rod which is moving perpendicular to a magnetic field
Electromagnetic
Induction, Magnetic Flux, Faraday’s Law of Induction, Motional Electromotive
Force, EMF
Connect a sliding rod
over a conducting loop in the presence of a constant magnetic field
perpendicular to the loop. Connect a galvanometer across any two points in the
loop. Move the sliding rod at a fixed velocity and see if the value of current
agrees with the motional emf value obtained theoretically.
Will an EMF be
induced in a conducting rod moving in a magnetic field?

That the EMF can be
induced not only by varying the magnetic field across the loop. It can also be
induced by moving an edge of the loop at a velocity.
This alert box could indicate a successful or positive action.
