Hydrogen Bonding
Chapter Name : Chemical Bonding And Molecular Structure
Sub Topic Code : 102_11_04_10_02
Topic Name : Hydrogen Bonding
Sub Topic Name : Types Of H- Bonds
Introduction

• Hydrogen bond can be defined as the attractive force which binds hydrogen atom of one molecule with the electronegative atom (F, O or N) of another molecule. • There are two types of hydrogen bonds: intermolecular and intramolecular.

Pre-Requisites:

Elements, periodic table, bonding, molecules

Activity:

Our DNA has hydrogen bonds in it. Water molecules combine together by hydrogen bonds.

Real Life Question:

How does DNA hold together?
